Hi everyone, my first blog post! So excited to start this adventure with all of you card making lovers! This card is made for a special friend’s 60th birthday.
I started off with hot foiling acetate using Spellbinders rainbow foil. Then after I had hot foiled it, ran it through twice to cut it out using my spellbinders platinum six. After that I picked out my critters that I wanted to create my scene using Lawn Fawn new Yappy Birthday, Simply Celebrate Pets (a freebie), and from the previously released using Just Plane Awesome sentiments, pop-up platform, platform pop-up add-on, Fireworks Hot Foil Plate, On the beach, Rub-a- Dub, Dandy day, Let’s go, nuts, Elephant parade, and Henry’s Junior ABC’s. Once I picked up my critters, I COPIC colored them, cut them out with their matching days. I use double sided adhesive tape to add my platform pop-up add-on to the back of the Platform once I did, realizing that I needed to put in the Celebrate pets first. So I needed to slide them in and glue them in place. I did do another cut of the same image to put on the backside so you couldn’t see all the coloring. I figured out my scene. I started gluing the images in place and I cut a 1/4 inch acetate picks to pop up any images, firework bursts, and sentiments. Made my sentiment an original by stamp each letter at a time to make sure it was small enough to place in front by gluing in place.
Thanks for taking the time to read! Enjoy! I hope this makes sense! I will get better, promise!
