Hi Friends,
Had to do a quick summer cards before the end of summer. And definitely a little love to my Whimsy stamps that I have not played with ever!
Whimsy Stamp: Beach Sloth
MFT: Watercolor Wash Rectangle, Summer Wave Stencil
1.Grab a 4 1//4 X 5 1/5 Bristol Smooth panel, place the Watercolor wash on for placement of the sloth, stamp with Lawn Fawn Black Jet Ink.
2. Stamp again on to Masking Magic. Cut out the mask and place over the Sloth.
3. Tape to the back of the Watercolor Wash Stencil. Using Making Tape and mask off the top. Leaving about 1 inch for the sand. Blend on Distressed Oxides Antique Linen and Gathered Twigs. Cover top and do some splatters of the Gather Twigs on to the sand.
4. Remove mask tape and flip to cover the sand. Top of the panel ( ocean wavers) ink blend the Distressed Oxide Tumble Glass. Now place the Summer Waves Stencil over the Watercolor wash Stencil. Using Peacock blend from on top of stencil on to paper for the waves. Remove Summer Waves and the masking tape. Splatter water and then Lawn Fawn Liquid Stardust over the ink blended area.
5. Remove mask and COPIC color:
Sloth: W7 W5 W3 W1 W0 R30
Chair: R29 R27 R24 E29 E27 E25 E23
6. Place in the Misti and Stamp on the Sentiment from the stamp set.
7. Once the panel was dry I embossed the foam with Hero Arts, White Puff. Using the VersaMark Pen I scribbled and foam line in between the sand and waves. Use and Anti-Static powder first. Make sure the Embossing heat tool is good and hot before hand.
8. Liquid glue on to a card base.
9. Added clear enamel dots on from Concord & 9th. I think they were from a online class that I did.
Thanks for stopping by,
Debbie
