Here for the Boos

Hi Crafty Friends,

Today I’m sharing this fun Adult Halloween card. Using Whimsy Stamps Hey Boo, Build-A-Graveyard dies, and Grave Epitaphs. MFT Cloud Cover Dies, also made a stencil with the dies from stencil material I bought from Amazon. 12 X 12 mil.

  1. Stamp out the image on to X-press It Paper with Lawn Fawn Jet Black Ink.
  2. Grab a Bristol Smooth Panel measuring 4 1/4 X 5 1/5 inches.
  3. Ink blend with Distress Oxides Twisted Citron, Rustic Wilderness, Wilted Violet, Villainous Potion, and Black Soot all around the outside edges. Make sure not to blend over the greens and purples, you’ll make mud.
  4. Splatter on water, dap off with a clean cloth. Then splatter on with White Gauche watered down and Perfect Pearls. Let dry!
  5. Cut out two tombstones, light and dark grey. One small and one large fences. One small skull, the three bats and one small cat.
  6. Stamp on the tombstones with VersaFine Tuxedo Black, adding the crack also.
  7. With DO Black Soot, I ink blended onto the tombstones to age them.
  8. I went green with the ghost since he looked rather drunk. I thought it would be funny!
  9. COPIC Colors
    • Ghost: T1 first for the shadow. YG00 Y01 YG03 Bottle:B000
    • Tombstone: C5 C3 C1
  10. I have no dies for this image, so I used my Scan N Cut to cut it out.
  11. Now that the panel is dry, I added fog to it. Using the stencil I made with the MFT Cloud Cover using White Pigment ink.
  12. Placing everything out to see a place for the sentiment. I heat embossed with white powder, using anti-static powder and VersaMark.
  13. Cut out the Cloud Cover dies with vellum. Add a scrap of black cardstock to the skull eyes. I had a little scrap of the Copic Color on my paper and cut it out for the cat eyes. YG 01
  14. Liquid glue the fences in between the Purples and greens. Then the vellum over, so no worries if there was mud made. Tombstones, skull, and cat were also liquid glued on. The drunk ghost was popped up with 3D foam.
  15. The Vellum clouds were run through my Xyron sticker makers. Yes, I still have mine from scrapbooking days. Just placed them on where I thought they looked good.
  16. I went around the ghost edges with V09 and G24 to blend into the background.

Thanks for stopping by,

Debbie
