My Favorite Things – Woof Birthday

Hi friends,

Snow and freezing temperatures today, so I stayed inside and made a couple of cards. I loved it but the hubby not so much, no golfing!

Any how, it’s been awhile since I’ve had the time to play along in the My Favorite Things challenges. I did a twofer! The Color #227 and Sketch #680 challenges. I don’t know if you have ever played along, but for my personal experience it was the best thing I ever could have done. It helped me improve my crafting! Ok let’s get started!

Started off with the previously released images from Presents & Pupcakes and Lucky Dog (retired) with the matching dies.

Stamped onto X-press It paper with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.

COPIC colors:

Poodle-N5,N3,N1, RV85,RV83,RV81,R11

Corgi- E39,E37,E35,E33,E31 E30,R11

Bones in cake-E31,E30,E04

Reds- R24, R27, R29

Greens-YG25,YG23 YG01

Pinks-RV17, RV85,RV83, RV81

Picked out my pattern paper from Holiday Plaids 6X6 paper pad, using the Stitched Stax Set 2 largest rectangle from Waffle Flower.

The Limelight paper from MFT was cut from the Stax Set 1 from Waffle Flower. Limelight circle cut was from Hero Arts circle stack and Cotton Candy was Stitched Circle Stax from MFT. Honestly just use what you have in your stash.

Placed 3D foam square on the back of images, with the banner you have to cut the small squares in half to make them fit.

Liquid glued the pattern paper onto the Limelight CS and the same with the circles.

The sentiment is from Lucky Dog stamp set, I stamped onto Neenah Solar classic crest with Versa Fine Onyx Black ink. Use the Skinny Sentiment strip die from MFT. Foam mounted onto the bottom of the panel,

Added highlights with GellyRoll 08

Then liquid glued the panel on to a Portrait card base.

Thanks for stopping by,

Debbie
