Hi Crafty friends,
Just got this adorable Owl My Love stamp set from Pink and Main from a sale at my local craft store! Before I even organized it away, had to play with it. Which I do that way too much! UGH! I know I’m not the only one out there like this!
Okay I started off with the Trinity Stamps Heart of Hearts stencil (retired) on a 4.25 X 5.5 panel. Using the first layer stencil blending on Sweets ink from SSS Pawsitively ink. And the second layer was with Watermelon ink. I knew the large heart in the stencils needed to be pink so the small hearts of the image showed up. With the residue on the brush I lightly went over the white portions of the panel.
Stamped out the two owl image onto X-press It paper with Memento Black Tuxedo ink.
COPIC Colors:
Dark Owl: E39,E37,E35E,34,E31,E30,R11
Lighter Owl: E43,E42,E41,E40,R11
Hearts: R29,R27
Die cut out the images with the match dies.
Place the images on the panel to get an idea of where to place the sentiment. Apply anti-static powder on the panel. Make sure the ink is dry before adding Versa Mark clear ink and the embossing powder. Using a sentiment from the set I heat embossed with White embossing powder.
Die cut out three times the Stitched Rectangle Scallop Frames from MFT. Stack them up with liquid glue for dimension.
Attach the panel on to a portrait card base. Center the frame onto the panel and attach with liquid glue. Add 3D foam squares to the back of the owls before attaching.
Added three white hearts from Trinity Stamps, they have the best embellishments!
Thanks for stopping by,
Debbie
