Trinity Stamps – Gnomie Love

Hi friends,

As I say today I’m sharing a card with you, I actually started creating last night. And for the life of me it was a huge struggle! Smeared ink from the Masking paper when ink blending. To the stencil moving twice on me! So after many attempts I went for it once again this morning.

Cut out a panel of X-Press it paper to 4.25 X 5.5 inches. With a Waffle Flower Grip Mat in my Misti, placed the panel in the middle of the mat portrait style. Arranged the images from Trinity Stamps, Sending Smooches and My One and Gnomely Stamp and Dies sets.

Stamping out with Memento Black Tuxedo ink. Then add masking paper. I found that full adhesive Post it notes worked best for me. I did have to use two of them for the Cupid Gnome. I also used a light grey ink. When I did the memento black and went to ink blend over it, it smeared sooo bad! Cut the masks out and placed over the images.

Then with the Waffle Flower Grip Mat on my glass mat for no MOVEMENT! 😂 place the panel on the grip. Blended on Distress Spun Sugar ink.

Layered on the Falling Hearts from Simon Says Stamp. Ink blended on Distress Picked Raspberry. With the remaining ink went over the edges to give it some depth.

With masks still in place, I added splatters to it. The Picked Raspberry watered down and a fan brush. Then once it was dried, I watered down Perfect Pearls and splattered on lightly.

Remove masks and COPIC Colored in.
