Alex Syberia Designs – Joyful Poinsettia

Hi Friends,

So I decide to playing along with Simon Says Instagram Challenge this month. White one White!

Guessing it had to do with all the snow on the ground put me in the mood for this challenge. I did a mash up of companies which is the best!

Started off with die cutting out the Joyful Poinsettia from Alex Syberia Designs. The Layers with detail was from Neenah Solar Classic Crest #80. The layer without detail and the centers (berries) were from Lawn Fawn Pixie Dust Glitter card stock! The Best glitter paper!

Leaves were die cut from Lawn Fawn Pearlescent Vellum, cut out three smaller ones and two of the larger leaves.

Grabbed the Snowflakes Plate and Stitched Scalloped Rectangles from Pink Fresh. Die cut out with Neenah Solar Classic Crest #80 Using the metal shim to my Gemini Junior.

When I assembled the poinsettia, I used the thin 3D foam squares in between each layer. With the exception of the centers, they were liquid glued onto the poinsettia.

Laying out the design on a horizontal size A2 card.

Have the perfect amount of space for the sentiment. Which is from Altenew – Versatile Greetings. The Hello die was cut out three times. With the shadow cut from the LF Pixie Dust Glitter card stock.

Attached the snowflake panel to a horizontal card base with liquid glue. Then the Stitched Scalloped Rectangles on top. I positioned the poinsettia where I thought it would look best and tucked the leaves under it with a little of the glue on the ends. Some of the pieces were cut down for a shorter look.

Stacking up the three hello’s on to one another then adding on the shadow die cut with liquid glue. Alter all the attachments were done I added three White Pearl Baubles to the centers for a little extra touch of white.

I haven’t ever done a whole white card, but with that said. I Love it! So classy!

Thanks for stopping by,

Debbie
