Today I’m playing along with MFT Color and Sketch Challenge.

Right away I knew that I wanted to use the new Lovely Lions by YUZU.

The Kraft, Red and Greens made it perfect for a Safari Love scene!😂

I started off with Neenah Desert Storm panel measuring 4.25 X 5.5 inches portraits style. Ink blended the edges and splattered with Distress Walnut Stain.

Splattered with Perfect Pearls watered down just a bit.

Then die cut the Treetop die (large, middle, and small sizes) from Prickly Pear and Jalapeño Popper card stock from MFT.

Ink blended the edges with Jalapeño Popper ink. Splattered them with Perfect Pearl.

Die cut out three of the Loopy Love dies (retired) from MFT Wild Cherry card stock. Stack them up and attach with Bearly Arts liquid glue for dimension.

Stamp out the adorable Lion on to X-press It paper with Memento Tuxedo black Ink.

COPIC colored:

Lion:E41, E42, E43, E44, E47, R11

Balloons & Bow: R39, R46, R37, R35, R27, R43

With the sentiment to fit I had to mask portions off to realign the sentiment for one long strip. Then using sentiment dies to cut out. Stamping with the Distress Oxide Walnut Stain.

At this point I realized I wanted some pattern paper behind the Desert Storm panel. So, I actually die cut the panel out with the MFT Stitched Rectangles STAX 2 the largest one. Glued on the Treetops for the tree and the bush. Aligned the Stitched Rectangle back up on it. Then ran it through my Gemini Junior once again to get the stitch detail on the Treetop cuts.

Then attached on to a 4.25 X 5.5 panel from the Colorful Canvas 6 X 6 paper pad.

Attaching the Lion with 3D foam squares. By doing it in this order I knew the space amount left for the sentiment.

Attached it with Bearly Arts liquid glue, added a foam square behind the sentiment and placed just above the LOVE. Then with liquid glue and one thin small square placed the YOU on top of the LOVE.

Added highlights to the balloons, Love, and the Treetops with Gellyroll #10

With Bearly Arts glue add 5 Trinity Stamps Cinnamon Red Hots hearts.

Attach to a card base measuring 4.25 X 5.5 Vertical with Bearly Arts glue.
