Whimsy Stamps – Snowman Love

Hi Friends,

Today I am sharing this cute Snowman Clear Stamp that I actually got for free at the Jennifer Dove Bootcamp. If you can call it free after paying for the Bootcamp, hotel, and airfare! It’s all good, the experience was well worth it all. And she gave a lot of freebies out each day.

So I started off stamping out the Snowman, we also got the new No-fuss masks that Whimsy Stamps is now offering for some of the stamp sets. Makes it so much easier than stamping and fussy cutting out masking paper.

Once he was stamped onto X-Press It paper with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. Use the mask to cover him and stamp out his arms to your liking. I personally wished I could make him do a heart with his hands. How cute would that be? Any how, then remove the mask and stick it onto the stamp packaging. Save it for another time!

COPIC colors:

B00, B000

R81, R83, R85

OLO markers for the Purple:V2.3, V2.4, V2.6

E44, E47

Once it was colored, I have a scan and cut so I used it rather than fuzzy cutting.

Die Cut out the Drippy Frame Die, added Distress Oxide Salvaged Patina Ink. Then when still wet added Distress Salvaged Patina Embossing Glaze powder. Have the heat gun good and hot, melt it. Then using a Picket Fence Pouncer only for Versa Mark. Pounced the frame with the Versa Mark and added more Salvaged Patina Embossing Glaze. I did this a total of three times. And you can actually get the glaze to move a little with the air. So I did to push it back a little for a thinner look.

Cut out a panel measuring 4.25 X 5.5 inches from Blurry Flurries Designer Paper pad.

Place the drippy frame and the snowman onto the panel vertical in your Misti for sentiment placement. Stamp it out with Versa Fine Black Onyx.

With Bearly Arts glue attach the panel to a side fold vertical card base. Then add the Drippy Frame in the center and where the sentiment looks good.

Add 3D foam square to the back of the Snowman but not hindering with the frame.

Added some highlights on the puff of the Stocking cap and boots. Add black back into the eyes to give it life again with Gellyroll black glaze pen #08.
