Hi Crafty friends,
So today I am sharing Kiss My Donkey Stamp set I have had for a little while. Since I have more than enough Valentine’s Day cards. I figured I would have this one be a Awww, Rats! And in the inside say, Sorry I missed your birthday.
Stamped out the image on X-Press It card stock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink in my Misti.
COPIC colors:
Donkey: W9,W7,W5,W3,W1,W0, R30
Rat: N5, N3, N1, N0, R30
Teeth: C1,C0
Robe: E47, E44
Panel was ink blended with Distress Oxide- Salt Water Taffy and Dried Marigold. Spritz with water, dapped with paper towel for some interest. Then Perfect Pearl watered down and splatters. Let Dry
Cut out the Slimline Fence die from Lawn Fawn Paper bag, I did some creative cutting to achieve a shorter fence. First I used a paper that measured closer to the 5.5 inches. Die cut out, then slide the die down to the edge of how long you wanted the plank. Have your die cutting plate over the portion you want cut. Ink blended on the edge with Distress Walnut Stain. The grasses from Concord & 9th Parsley and ink blended with Distress Rustic Wilderness.
Nails were die cut from Lawn Fawn- Storm Cloud, added detail with T9
Once panel was dry I die cut out with Wonky Stitched Rectangles die set.
Place the panel and fence (just for sentiment placement purpose) in the Misti. Stamp out the sentiment with Distress Oxide-Walnut Stain.
The long grass was cut out with the Wonky Stitched Rectangles also for a nice matching edge.
The fence was assembled to fit on the panel and the liquid glue to attach it. Nails were then attached.
Attach the long strip of grass with Bearly Arts liquid glue. Pop up the bunch of grasses with 3D foam squares.
Donkey and Rat also have the 3D foam squares but in some areas you’ll have to add a thin one to make it more flush. The fence adds just enough extra dimension, this is why in some areas.
Now you can attach to a 4.25 X 5.5 inch card base horizontal.
Thanks for stopping by,
Debbie
