Sympathy So Deeply Sorry

Hi friends, sometimes we have a need for a sympathy cards. This one will just be in my stash! You just never know when you’ll need it so best to be ready!

With Canson Water Color paper stamp out the floral images from Whimsy Stamps the Sympathy So Deeply Sorry Stamp Set using Gina K Amalgam Obsidian Ink. Since there will be no masking I had to be strategic with stamp placement.

I have the Tim Holtz Distress water coloring pencils and really need to try them out. I have to say I am not great at this. But practicing can help right?

Distress Water Color Pencils:

Shaded Lilac, Villianous Potion, Rustic Wilderness, Tumbled Glass, and Salvaged Patina.

I did find wetting the paper first and then with a water pen I dip into water and then grab the color from the pencil. Then went to the image and added color. I tried adding pencil color directly to the watercolor paper then with a water pen smooth out the color. This was okay, it worked well for around all the images with the Tumbled Glass.

Once all colored and dry I added some gold splatter. Die cut down the panel to 4 5/8 X 3 7/16 horizontal.

Mat with black card stock from stash, measuring 4 15/16 X 3 11/16 inches. Adhere the water color panel with Scotch 3D foam strips. This will help keep the panel flat onto the black mat.

Then adhere to a horizontal top fold card base measuring 4.25 X 5.5 inches.

Add gold baubles with Bearly Arts glue. I also add Gold pen dots to the centers of the flowers.

Thanks for stopping by,

Debbie
