Hiking through the Meadows

Hi friends, this is my entry into the Spellbinders Card Making Super Star Contest. You can only download one card per person. But I could do a Scrapbook page, that’s been awhile!

Anyhow, here is what I did. Using the Sarah Renae Clark Color cube to help with my colors.

1. Die cut out a panel of Neenah Solar White #80lb. panel 4.25 X 5.5 inches. Emboss the panel with the Radiant Burst.

2.Using the Hiking through the Meadows, I die cut out the boots with Lawn Fawn-Storm Cloud and MFT-Cement Gray. Shoe Laces are from Lawn Fawn – Rainforest Card Stock.

3. The florals I die cut it out twice for each whole and half flower. When you layer them all up and the two together make the whole flower. Die Cutting the Pink florals from Gina K. Bubblegum Pink. Ink blending on the center on bottom layer of each flower.

4. All the leaves were cut from Lawn Fawn – Rainforest and PaperTrey Ink – Tropical Teal.

5. The top centers, stem to the berries, and the round Blooms were cut from Lawn Fawn, Storm Cloud, and MFT Cement Gray.

6. I ink blended on a darker gray to the base of the boots.

7. Adhere the light Gray and the strings with liquid glue to the top of the boots but don’t glue it on yet until the flower arrangement is done.

8. Attach all the flowers to their stems. Arrange the bouquet, keeping the colors spread apart. You don’t want the same colors right next to each other. I try to make it rounded onto top. I like the spikes on top to make it fun.

9. Once the flowers are glued down to the base of the boot. Attach the top of the boot over the base and flower stems. At first I added foam squares but once I started to arranging on the panel I adhered right on top.

10. The sentiment was die cut out from Gina K. Bubblegum Pink with the Small Die of the Month Sept. 2021 Layering Mix and Match Sentiments. You can stack up layers of the white sentiment or add 3D small foam squares.

11. Attach to a standard A2 Panel Vertical Top Fold.

Thanks for stopping by,

Debbie
