H Crafty friends,
So the Design team was told that the owner Denise of Whimsy Stamps birthday was coming up. And I thought it would be fun to send her a card, since I was given this great opportunity.
1.Started off stamping out the images from Safari Animals Clear Stamp set. Using X-Press It smooth Solar White cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. Once they are colored I ran them through my Brother Scan and Cut.
COPIC colors:
Elephant: W5,4,3,2,1, R11
Lion: YR24, 23,21,20, E23, 25
Giraffe: E23,YR24, 21,20
Hooves: T7,5,4
2. Die cut out the Jungle Frame Die from Hero Hues-Meadow. And again from white 2 mores times. Keeping the center to ink blend the grass and clouds. Also to build up the frame for dimension with Bearly Arts liquid glue. From the inside piece of the Meadow green frame I added the two Leaf dies to use later. Inked blend on the Leaves SSS Pawsitively Ink Field to the darker leaves, and the remain ink on the brush to the lighter leaves. Which was die cut out of MFT-Limelight cardstock.
3. My polkadot panel is from the Mix-n-Match 2 Paper Pack, measuring 4.25 X 5. Inches.
4. Attach the two white frames with liquid glue and the the Meadow green frame for dimension Adhere the frame to the Polkadot panel with liquid glue. Take the white center piece and on the bottom add Distress Oxide ink, I used what was left on my brush for a light blend. Then add the It’s Cloudy Stencil on top and once again with the remaining ink on brush blended in some clouds.
5. Place the background panel into the Misti, place the sentiment in. I would place the animals in also to know that you have enough room and it its centered. Stamp out with Memento Tuxedo Ink or VersaFine Onyx Black ink.
6. Adhere 3D foam squares to the back of the animals. And figure out which leaves you want for the corners and one tucked in between the Elephant and the Lion. You have to be careful with the foams square to not have them in the way to place over some of the other images.
Thanks for stopping by,
Debbie
