Flamingo Fun

Hi friends, today I am sharing a card that I actually started for a hop on April 27th but the Build-a-Island just didn’t work out. So why not add a Flamingo for FUN!

The Island was made but too short for the Flamingo. For scale purpose I had to add on more of the tan card stock so I add some splatter before attaching it. And with the back ground just blue I decided to add some waves using the Making Waves Stencil and Salty Ocean Distress Ink. I tried to pounce on some clouds with White Pigment ink and It’s Cloudy stencil but it didn’t show up.

Stamped out the image from Flamingo Fun onto XPress-It smooth white card stock using Memento Tuxedo Black ink.

COPIC Colors used:

Flamingo:RV04,02,10 the outside feathers RV06

Eyes:C1,0,00

Beak:N7,6,4

E42,41,40

Feet:YR04,02,000

Y15,08,06,02

Die cut out with my Brother scan and Cut.

Adhere with liquid glue the die cuts, then decided to die cut it out with the Wonky Stitched die. Probably should do before adding the Island with the Palm trees.

Before adhering the Flamingo I add the sentiment to the bottom with white embossing powder. Always check to make sure by adding some embossing powder and if it sticks then it’s not dry.

Pop some 3D foam squares to the back of the flamingo and attached it.

There was an empty area on the bottom right so I added some small flowers to it from the Hibiscus Flower dies. The baubles are from my stash,Trinity Stamps/Soft Peach

Thanks for stopping by,

Debbie
