Hi friends, this is the last card for May as Guest Designing for Pretty Pink Posh with the new release. Although I do need another graduation card in my granddaughter’s school colors!
1. I started off doing the back ground using the new Fancy Lattice Stencil with a panel measuring 4.25X5.5 Neenah Classic Crest Smooth White #80. Placing on my Waffle Flower grip mat. Ink blended on Lawn Fawn Cranberry ink. The remove the stencil and add the leftover ink from the brush going over very lightly the panel, so the white is more pinkish.
2. Place in a box or splat box and splatter on with black paint and Nuvo Mica Mist using a paint brush, not misting. Let the panel dry.
3. Place the new Graduation Cap Shaker Die tape in place on the panel where you would like the shaker to be and run through my Gemini Junior or Platinum 6.
4. Frame is from Glossy Black Cardstock from SSS. The tassel is from Matte Gold.
5. New Best Wishes Dies was also Glossy Black and Silver Cardstock.
6. Cut out an acetate piece big enough to cover the opening, adhere to the back of the panel with 1/8 inch double sided tape. Add Pear Blossom Press Double thick foam tape around the opening, to make a channel for the beads.
Add the new Celebration Beads into the channel you created with the foam tape. I like to take a smaller piece of black or what ever color you want to see through the window. I’m not good at aligning the base over it, for sure it will be crooked! Then I’ll add the shaker panel to another 4.25 X 5.5 inch black panel.
Carefully add the black glossy frame on the acetate, with liquid glue. Adhere the silver best wishes to the black glossy shadow.
Add to a Standard A2 horizontal base.
Thanks for stoping by,
Debbie
