Tropical Birds

Hi Friends, today I am for the first time up on Pretty Pink Posh Blog as a Designer!! Such an honor and I am beyond excited for the future!! So make sure to check out Pretty Pink Posh Blog! There is 15% off on Animal section!

I knew that I was going to be using the adorable Flamingo’s from Tropical Birds stamp set. With that said I knew I was using pinks, then I wanted something other than just green. Teal is a magical color with pinks!

1. Starting off with the Layered Leaves and Flowers Stencil. Place over a panel measuring 4.25 X 5.5 inches onto a Grip mat in a vertical position. With Layer A ink blend on with SSS Pawitively Ink- Tidepool and the in the centers add a little Tropic for depth.

2. Then align up Layer B, the Flowers and ink blend on with SSS Bubblegum ink. Once that is completed add the final Layer C, ink blend on SSS Sweet to the flower centers and Taffy to the tree dots.

3. Stamp out the images onto X-Press It smooth white card stock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.

COPIC Coloring Guide:

Flamingos: R66,RV55, RV63, RV52

Beak: N5,N3, C0, R11

Teals: BG49,BG13,BG34,BG32

Trunk: E47,44,43,42

Die cut out images with the Coordinating Dies of Tropical Birds stamp set.

Die cut the largest die from the new Eyelet Oval Dies from white card stock. And one previously released Stitched Leafy Borders die from Papertrey Ink-Tropical Teal card stock.

Place in the Misti and stamp on your sentiment from the set.

Take the Layered Leaves & Flower panel and trim down to 2 inches vertical. Then layer the Stitched Leafy Border Die over the inside edge of the panel about a half inch in. This gives a nice little well for the leaves to be snuggled into.

Adhere with liquid glue the panel onto a Standard A2 base Portrait side fold. Then attach the Leafy Border, snug it right up in the die cut area.

Attach the oval and Palm Tree and add 3D Foam squares to the back of the Flamingos.

Finally touches were adding white highlights and Valentine Confetti Mix for embellishments.

Thanks for stopping by,

Debbie
