Bat Shaker

Hi Crafty Friends, today I’m sharing the new Bat Shaker, Scattered Bats Stencil, and Spooky Sky Clay Confetti from the new Spooktacular Release!

I went a little batty with this card! I wanted to make it glow in the dark, since the Clay mix does glow also. If you saw the Boy release in June there was some Clay confetti that glowed also. So much fun for any kiddos!

First thing I wanted to do was the background panel so it had time to dry. So I placed a panel onto a grip mat and blended on Distress Oxide- Wilted Violet, Villainous Potion, and Black Soot. Next I placed the Scattered Bats Stencil on top and blended on Black Soot Distress.

Then I splattered on Distress Mica Spray-Frozen Fog and Flickering Candle.

Once it was dry I placed over the panel of bats the previously released Starry Background Stencil. And with a spatula applied Lawn Fawn Glow-in-the-dark Paste.

Then after the panel with the paste was dry I cut out of the center the whole bat die from the Bat Shaker Die. Then from black glitter cardstock cut the full bat again. Add the inside portion in the center of the glitter bat and run it through again having a frame.

Die cut out the face from black card stock and the face and ears are from Glitter Silver Card Stock.

Cut a piece of Acetate to fit behind the bat to cover the window opening and attach to the back of the panel.

Add foam behind the panel around the window opening. Next, fill it with the Spooky Sky Clay Confetti then adhere black card stock to seal it all in.

The sentiment is then stamped and white heat embossed from the new Halloween Corners Stamp Set onto black card stock. Then die cut out with the Coordinating Dies.

Adhere it together with liquid glue and attached to a standard A2 card base.

Thanks for stopping by and stay crafty my friends,

Debbie
