Cutie Batootie

Hi friends, today I am sharing one of my favorite Halloween stamps from Whimsy Stamps. In fact I owned it before I got on the Instapinners Design team.

I started off with a panel of X-press It smooth white card stock. Not the best for ink blending but best for copic coloring. I placed it in my Misti to get the placement of the adorable Cutie Batootie Stamp set image and the Tree Silhouette Rubber Background stamp. Stamp out the cute bat and the pumpkins on. Then with the No Fuss Mask placed over the image.

I made my own moon mask by grabbing the circle die Howling Night Die Set. And ran the die with Gina K. Masking Magic through the Platinum 6 machine. Next I grabbed the moon mask, place in the upper right corner. Next with some low tack tape and placed about 1 1/4 inch from the bottom over the No Fuss Mask.

Then with Distress ink I blended on Scattered Straw, Carved Pumpkin, Wilted Violet, and Chipped Sapphire. I moved the tape up and added Smoked Hickory and Scored Timber Ink. Did a little splatter to the bottom with the inks.

Remove the moon mask and add ink from the yellow brush in the white moon area.

Place the tape back over the bottom once dry. Place with the Tree Silhoutte stamp and the panel in the Misti. Stamp the trees over the Cutie Batootie with Black ink. Place in a splatter box and flick on liquid Pixi Dust from Lawn Fawn.

Remove the No Fuss mask from the Cutie Batootie.

COPIC Coloring:

T5,T4,T3,T2,R22 and on the wings T4 with overlay of FV

E44,E47,

YR18, YR09, YR07,YR04, Y35

Grounded the images with T5, T4

Stamp out the sentiment in the Misti and White heat emboss it.

Die cut out the EEK Word Die Set from Black Glitter card stock from my stash. Attach with liquid glue.

Trim the panel down by 1/8 inch on all sides. Adhere to a standard A2 card base. Final touch was to add white highlights.

Thanks for stopping by and stay crafty,

Debbie
