Hi friends, yesterday I was up on the Pretty Pink Posh Blog! With the new Fall-bulous release today, I have the Big Fall Cupcake Die paired with the Fall Words Stencil.
I started off with my background, using Desert Storm Cardstock A2 size in a horizontal position. Placing the cardstock on a grip mat, I placed the Fall Words Stencil on top and applied Nuvo Glimmer Paste Rich Cocoa. Set to the side to dry completely.
Then I die cut out the Slice of Pie, 2 layers for each of the Sunflowers, and topping from white cardstock. I started with ink blending on two different yellow inks to the pedals of the flower. The back pedals are with a darker yellow to give dimension to them. Then centers are also with two colors of brown, using a E44 copic pen to add dot detail to the centers. The slice of pie was colored with Copics, E35,E33, E31,E30. For the Carmel topping I used Carmel Ink from Taylored Expressions, seemed fitting. The leaves were from two shades of green cardstock and the ice cream was from a cream where I added E41 and E40 to give more detail.
Then once the panel was dry I die cut it out with the largest Stitched Torn Rectangle
Die and mat it onto the Crimson cardstock that was also used for the cake holder. Adhere it all together with liquid glue and popped up the sunflowers and slice of pie with 3D foam squares.
Once that was finished I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment from Solid Foliage Stamp with Cream embossing powder. Using the Coordinating Dies to cut the sentiment out. Popping up the right side of it so it will remain level with the cupcake. Then I added Espresso Pearls to the topping and on the cake holder.
Thanks for stopping by and stay crafty my friends!
