Rocky the Dancin’ Yeti

Hi friends, today is my very first card with Spellbinders! So excited for what this holds for me in the future! As of right now I have November and December. This was all unexpected, but definitely lots of excitement!

Any how, I started by making Rocky the Dancin’ Yeti in teal card stock. The pink scarf and hat is from Spellbinders- Fruit Punch and Lawn Fawn-Raspberry. There is a little straw in the hot cocoa mug, it is the Flower stem that comes with Rocky the Dancin’ Yeti set. I just trimmed off the leave and flower.

The background panel in the Fruit Punch I ran it through the P6 with the Peppermint Stripes Embossing Folder. Then over the raised embossing I slide a white ink pad on top. Either side will work great. Trim the panel down 1/4 inch on two sides. Next mat with the Raspberry card stock.

Then with white Neenah #80 I die cut it with the Essentials Modern Ovals Dies, then with the oval place into the Tiny Dots Embossing Folder and run through the P6 again. Leaving the Oval with fun polka dots!

With the next size up on the Modern Oval, die cut it from the Fruit Punch Card stock for a mat with the white polka dot oval.

Start adhering the matted panel to a standard card base with liquid glue. Then place the Modern Ovals with liquid glue in the center of the panel.

Add Foam squares to the back of the Yeti, but there will be a round foam in the circle of the legs for the movement. No foam dots on the legs, on the body you can place small ones so the legs don’t move to far over. Attach Rocky to the White Modern Oval.

Last is the Comfort and Joy Sentiments that is White hot foil on Black Glossy card stock and die cut out. Popped up with foam squares.

Thanks for stopping by and stay crafty my friends!
