Hi crafty friends, as the New Year approaches I am laid up a bit. Found out at the beginning of the week I have a torn meniscus. Then this evening taking my grand fur baby out to go potty I slipped and twisted my ankle on the same leg! UGH! So with leg up on pillows and icing I’m writing this blog post.

I started off with a standard panel and heat embossed with gold the top of the glasses from the New Years Clear Stamp from Whimsy. Then I did the stem from Verse Mark Black with Clear Embossing powder. After that I decided to add the bubbles on the top. I thought I could make it look as though the bubbles were overflowing. Not sure I achieved the look.

Next I took SSS Night Ink and blended on with darker on the edges.

Still not enough so I took a paper towel and ripped a piece off to cover the glasses and splattered on gold.

Die cut it out with Wavy Pierced Rectangle Dies mat onto a Black card stock.
