Hi Crafty Friends, the new Valentine Release is here at Pixi Dust Designs. And this is by far the cutest release with all the pairings of the lovely couples!

Today I have the You’re Soda-lightful Dies! Who doesn’t love a good movie with Popcorn and a soda! With the new My Valentine Paper pad it made it so easy to make these cuties! This pattern is picked is actually at an angle but I moved the die on the pattern to where the stripes were vertical. I added some ink on the sides to make dimension and cheeks. To the lid of the cup I just add some Copic B00 and B000 to give it more realistic look.

The popcorn kernels were cut from white and a soft yellow with light inking on the edges for dimension. When I attached them together I used some 3D foam squares to some of the kennels. The heart is from last years Valentines Release, Valentine Heart Die

With the sentiment before I die cut it out. I attached Adhesive sheet to the back of the card stock first. Then ran it through my P6 a couple of times. Then with a bone folder on the back side, slide it over to make sure the adhesive is burnished in! Then remove the backing and flip the die over. Place it where you want it to be, nice and straight. Use a Picker Pointy tool and pop the die cut out and not moving the die! Make sure to slide the bone folder over carefully to make sure it is attached well!
