Hi Friends, here with the February Release from Spellbinders! This is the Lavender Mountain Daisy from Susan Tierney-Cockburn.
Knowing that I needed to make the flower look as real as possible, I borrowed some Susan Garden Tools from a friend. Also bought some bigger stylus and the Susan’s Garden Speciality paper.

Started off die cutting from the speciality card stock the dies. It has on the die etched in how many times to die cut each die out.
Then with the Paper Pouncers from Picket Fence Studios, pounced on SSS Carnation ink to the front and the back of each die cuts. With COPIC RV04, from the center out did some flicking. The leaves were SSS-Fairway and Field inks. On the centers I used SSS-Butter ink, pollen is added after I manipulated with the stylus in circular motion.
Next I misted the back and with the stylus did stroked to both sides. To get the pedals to curve both directions. Same went with the leaves. I took a long tweezer to the middle of the pedals and pinched to get an upward look.
For my panels I did one standard A2 Black panel through the Tiny Dot Embossing Folder. With the Hemstitch Rectangle Die, the second largest size with white card stock.
For the sentiment I used the Little Message BetterPress in the black ink. Attached it all together and popped up the sentiment with 3D foam squares. Added a couple of pink pearls.
Thanks for stopping by and stay crafty my friends!
