Let’s Party

Hi friends, let’s celebrate Pretty Pink Posh 11th Birthday Party! These are the new Birthday Cake Pops with the new Layered Birthday Cake Pop Stencil.

So I went to the Color Cube for my inspiration with the color palette #378

On a grip mat place a standard vertical panel, then the new Layered Birthday Cake Pop stencil over it. I started with Layer A, on the bottom going up with a Lavender, Light Blue, light teal, yellow, and pink inks. Next was the Layer B, same order of inks but went up a shade. I use Simon Says Pawsitively inks, they come in group of three shades so it makes it easy to figure out.

Then I die cut out the Cake Pops from card stock in my stash that matched the color combination. The cake itself was Lawn Fawn Vanilla Malt card stock.

I did do a little ink blending on the edges of the cardstock to give some depth. Adhering the cake pops together with liquid glue and adding foam squares behind just the pops.

Then I die cut out a piece of vellum with the Wonky Edge Rectangles Die. I place the vellum exactly where I wanted it and then attached the pops on the vellum. This way I had a place to hide the glue.

Next I did cut out the Let’s Party Shadow die. Once I placed the Sentiment in place I trimmed down the sticks to the cake pops. And with the sentiment there was more area to hide the glue.

Thanks for stopping by and stay crafty my friends!
