Sheepish Moments

Hi Friends, so I’m without power so what does one do if not enough light to craft?!!! Blog cards!!

So I’ve had these stamps and dies for a while. I know that I’ve used the stamp before but not the Comic Burst Die. So I wanted to do something different then using the Comic kids from Whimsy Stamps.

To start off on this card I stamped out the one image of the sheep flying with his cape from Sheepish Moments Clear Stamp Set.

COPIC coloring guide:

R24, R27, R29, R39

W00, W0, W1, W3, W4, W6, W8, W9

Then I die cut out with the Coordinating Dies for the set.

Next with the Comic Paper Pack that looked the most like a sky. I die cut it out with the Comic Burst A2 Dies.

I wanted it to be a red mat, so I laid the pattern panel on top of the red and inlaid the center. Then on the back side to the panel where the stars, burst, and dots are. I placed 3D foam squares over the holes. Then I die cut out the burst again with a gold Glitter card stock and inlaid each of the pieces. This way the sticky from the foam held each piece in place.

Then I die cut out three times from the same card stock the word SUPER using the Bold ABC Dies. It didn’t show up like I wanted, so I then did the same gold glitter to off set the colors. Nope, that wasn’t it, I even tried reversing the colors. Then with Black and that was the ticket for me.

Then I stamped and Gold heated embossed part of the sentiment from the set. Die cut it out with the Quick Strips Dies.

Added foam behind the image and some gold stars from my stash.

When I adhered it all together, I released that only part of the letters need the foam squares. Then it will be level with the pattern paper.

Thanks for stopping by and stay crafty my friends!
