Present Shaker Dies

Hi friends, today I have the big Present Die which takes up practically the whole card panel.

So to start off I ink blended a standard white panel with the new Layered Garland Stencil. The inks are Simon Says Pawsitively Inks: Celery, Marine, and Butter. Once the banners were ink blended on I took the brush that I used celery with. And lightly went over the whole panel to tone down the white. With a little of the same Marine ink I splattered. Then with a trimmer I cut it down by 1/8inch on all sides.

Next I took the largest die and cut from the middle of the panel. Then with blue cards stock to match the Birthday Wish Shaker Beads. I die cut it out with the outer and inner dies to create the opening. Behind the panel I adhered acetate to cover the opening with double sided adhesive. Also added thick foam strips around the opening for a well to hold the shaker beads in. Then flipped it over and with a thin layer of liquid glue added the blue frame on top of the acetate.

Then I grabbed another panel and ink blended the same colors just a little heavier using the Layered Bokeh Stencil. I will use this for the back panel to hold the mix in and also it gives the present nice wrapping paper look. Trim the panel down a bit because it all will be matted with the same blue.

Peel off the release tape, add the shaker beads and attach the Bokeh panel. Flip it over and attach to the blue mat and card base.

Then I stamp out the sentiment from the Upright Greetings:Birthday Stamp Set with black ink onto white. Die cut out using the Sentiment Stripes Die Set, the flag die. I tucked them under the bow, but I did have to trim a little down to make it fit. Added a Pistachio Pearl to the center of the bow.
