Boy, do we ever need each other these days!!

Hi my friends, today I’m playing with the Otter Variety Clear Stamp from Whimsy Stamps. I’ve been having fun playing around with the sentiments using letter dies these days.

So to start off I found the pattern paper I wanted to use from the Mermaid Paper Pad. Then in the center of the panel I die cut out with the larger die from the Nested Wavy Frames die. Then with the two dies taped together I die cut again from a matching blue card stock in my stash. Once more from a white to add in the center to place the images on. I had a hard time figuring out if I wanted a blue but stuck with the white.

Next I trimmed down the panel with the Wonky Stitched Dies. I thought the waves in the stitch was a fun effect.

Then I stamped and copic colored the two otters from the set.

Copic coloring guide:

W0, W1, W3, W5, W7

C0, C1, C3, C5, C7

R20 for the cheeks

Eyes: B91

After the coloring was done I die cut them out with the Coordinating Dies.

Then I stamped out a portion of the sentiment from the set, We Need each. I placed masking tape over the otter in the sentiment before I stamped it with black ink. Die cut it out with the Simple Sentiments Die.

Next was to die cut out three times the word, Otter from Cutie ABC Dies from a darker blue and black card stock for the shadow to off set the letters.

Attached it all together and popped up the images with 3D foam squares. Lastly adding some light clear blue baubles from a water droplet effect.
