Hi friends! Can I say how much I love this card!? It was super fun to make and I think it came out so adorable.

It’s always easy to make a card when you have a great scene already using the Just Beachy Paper pack from Whimsy Stamps.

I usually kind of lay out the products or stamps that I want to use. So in this case it was first the Pirate Party Clear Stamp set. Then I knew I had to figure out which scene from the paper pack. I thought this one was great with all the beach and water.

So I then stamped out the images and copic colored them in.

Once the coloring was done I die cut them out with the Coordinating Dies and added foam squares behind them for dimension.

Next the background, I grabbed a Kraft card stock and with the Treasure Map Die. I did some creative cutting, having the plate off the edge. Slide the die down to find a decent place where the die fit into place. Off set the plate again and ran it through the die cutting machine.

I grabbed a dark brown ink and ink blended around the edges, did some ink splattering also. I was trying to dirty it up, it’s supposed to look old.

Then with the Wavy Pierced Die, I did the same thing with the Beach pattern paper. Cut on one side with the plate off set, so as to not cut in the middle. Then slide the die down, this one was a little trickier. But I think I did a pretty good job. You just want to make sure to cut it so that it fit over the Treasure map nicely.

Then with more word playing, I stamped and gold embossed the Matey from the set. Of course gold, they’re pirates! Then die cut out the Ahoy using the Bold ABC dies three times for dimension. For the top letters, I ran about half the bottom of the letters over Versamark ink and applied gold embossing powder.

Adhering it all together and placing the Matey in the crabs pinchers. I thought that was cute and yes I almost said hands! 😂
