Hi friends, today I am so excited to share the beautiful Yana’s Daises Die set from the April release over at Spellbinders.
I started off by adding some double sided adhesive sheet to the back of a panel of Neenah card stock. I first popped out the center of the flowers. And then ink blended on yellow from the center out and an orange red ink from the tip into the center. Then die cut it out again for the frame with a Matt Gold card stock. The centers were done from a yellow, orange and then a red brown inks.
Next I took a panel of Neenah card stock and ink blended on the yellow ink. Splattered on the orange red ink and gold. Once it was dried I trimmed it down to mat with a black card stock.
I heat foiled the sentiment from the new Crafty Hugs Sentiments Press Plate set with gold onto Raven Black from Spellbinders. It is great cardstock for foiling because it is super smooth. Then I die cut it out with the matching dies from the set. Popped the sentiment up with black foam squares.
I wasn’t happy with the blend on the pedals so I took my copic pens, R08 and R05 and flicked on some color. Then with the Y35 flicked from the center to the tip. Then I was finally able to add the gold frame on with liquid glue. I decided not to use the shadow die from the set.
Lastly I added some gold baubles to the panel, even though it had a lot of gold splatter!
I think this turned out really pretty, what do you think?
