Welcome Spring-Build a Eggs

Hi friends, how much do we love the Build an Egg Die Set? So I went off to a crafty weekend and I wanted to play with the set. So I pulled out my trusty Color Cube to figure out my color combination.

Found my matching card stock and went to town die cutting it all out. So of course I had plenty of eggs for two or more cards. I have an Anna Griffin electric die cutting machine and it’s wonderful!!

Card Stock Colors:

Spellbinders: Bellini and Crimson

Lawn Fawn: Raspberry and Sage Leaf

Gina K: Sunkissed Coral

Once I had my eggs built, for the back grounds I used Tiny Bows Stencil and Layered Floral Vines Stencil. On the Mini Bows panel after I ink blended it up on a panel of the Bellini card stock. With the residual ink on my brush I lightly went around the edges.

Simon Pawsitively Inks: Cheeky, Aspen, and Brick

On the Welcome Spring I stamped and Heat Cream embossing powder onto Sage Leaf from the Upright Greeting: Easter. Then die cut it out with the Sentiment Strips Die Set.

With the Spring Wishes from Sentiment Strips: Easter, they are sold out right now. But perhaps you already own them because they’re from a previous release.. I had the perfect place to stamp and heat emboss with the cream powder on the one egg. Then I die cut Sage Leaf with Scallop Frames to framed it up.

With the Welcome Spring I decided to add a bow with some cross grain ribbon and a shear one in a sage.

I think these cards are so elegant.
