Cheers!

Hi friends, so I have had this Frosty Mug Die from Whimsy Stamps for a while. I decided to finally use it but my first thought was to make a Father’s Day card. But then I decided to go birthday cards since my son’s birthday is coming up, although he doesn’t care for beer. 😂

So started off with die cutting the mug out of White card stock and Lawn Fawn Sticky Note card stock. I added a little bit of blue ink onto the white edges of the mug. Then on the Sticky Note and the white foam I used SSS Honey ink. For the highlight of the mug I used the Lawn Fawn Pixie Dust Glitter paper.

Next, I die cut out Cheers! Die with Black and Gold card stock. Also the Inverted Scallops Die was from Gold card stock.

Then I needed to figure out the background paper, I thought about using polka dots. Then I went into the digital papers from Whimsy and found in the Bokeh Digital Papers which had a yellow and it looked like bubbles!

So I trimmed down the digital paper with the Inverted Scallop to inlay and then mat in black. And laid it out before adding the images. I stamped out the rest of the sentiment from Simple Sentiment set. Then I was able to attach the frame and popped up the images with foam squares.
