Hi crafty friends, it’s getting close to MerMay! So today I have the adorable Mermaid Moments clear stamp set from Whimsy Stamps.

I started off with a panel of X-Press It card stock. Stamped out the Mermaid and the Star Fish from Baby Sea Creatures stamp set. Then I did second generation stamping on Masking paper. Fussy Cut out the masks and placed them over the images. Then with the residual ink on my brushes went over the panel. Next with the Speckled Heart Stencil, I added more ink from the brush with more pressure. I then splattered Pixi Dust from Lawn Fawn. Covered the top of the panel with a paper towel. And ink splattered on the sand some watered down brown ink.

Removed the masks and Copic Colored:

The grass blades were done free hand. Then I stamped out the sentiment from the Mermaid Moments Sentiments stamp set.

Next I die cut out the panel with the Wavy Pierced Rectangle Die set. Matted it onto C9 Sweet Pea card stock.

Last thing was to add some white highlights and a clear blue baubles.
