For my card today I chose to play with the Stitched Hummingbird Dies and the Spring Florals Dies. But first I needed my background which was an easy fix with the Daffodils!

I grabbed a panel of Neenah #80 and placed the first Layered Daffodil Stencil on a grip mat. Ink blended on SSS Butter and Zest for the yellows. The leaves were from SS Fairway Ink. With the residual ink on my yellow brush I lightly went over the top of the panel to add to the white panel. Next I trimmed it out with the Stitched Torn Rectangle dies.

Then I die cut out the daffodils and the blue flowers from the Spring Florals Dies. I did add some shading to the flowers for some depth.

I then wanted to frame up the flowers and have a place to anchor them. So, with the Notched Squares Die I die cut it out using to two dies to make a frame. I then did from just the bigger of the two, die cut it out of vellum to glue behind the frame. The vellum will just soften the background for the flowers.

Next up was the Stitched Hummingbird Dies, I die cut out both directions because I didn’t know on which way I would need them to go. Back up! I also did some shading on the Hummingbird pieces for depth. I added some 3D foam squares to the back of it.

For the sentiment I stamped and White heat embossed the Thanks from the Simple Thanks Stamp Set and then with the Coordinating dies die cut them out.
