Hi friends, so I don’t do rainbows very often but I had this idea with the new Splatters BetterPress Plate from the Wildflower Collection by Lisa Horton over at Spellbinders.
With a slimline cardstock and the press plate, I used some of the lighter inks from Altenew. They worked great and easy clean up! It only took my two try’s to make this panel happen. I just slide it over enough to overlap just a couple of drops. Rather than going across on the colors I took them up and down. Which made it easier to get all the colors on the panel.
Next was the Butterfly Silhouette BetterPress Plates and Dies. With this I took more Altenew inks with a shade darker, and pounced on the color. Then with a brush went over the two shades to soften the line.
Instead of using the Black ink to press it in I hot foiled the Butterflies. There is a registration sheet to help with the lining up.
For the sentiment I did the Sending Smiles Sentiments from the collection. Not realizing there is a shadow die and a mat to the shadow. You could use vellum for the second shadow die.

Thanks for stopping by and stay crafty my friends!
