Birthday from the Herd!

Hi friends, today I have with a one layered card. I don’t make these often since there is more work involved. But with the No Fuss Mask for the Barnyard Animals Clear Stamp set it made it so simple.

I started off stamping the front cow on to a standard A2 panel. Then masking it off to stamp the next cow. And continued with all five of the cows keeping the masks on to ink blend on the back ground. With that said I did use the Masking Paper by Whimsy Stamps and cut it out so as to not use all the cows of the Barnyard No Fuss mask sheets.

For the back ground, I took a sheet of acetate and die cut it out with the Slimline Build a Fairy Garden Die Set making my own stencil. Once you die cut this out I then keep it in the sleeve with the dies. I used the stencil row three times with SSS Fairway ink. I then used the negative of the stencil to cover the grass and ink blended on the sky with SSS Marine ink. Before I removed the stencil I splattered on water and then using a clean towel to remove the water and ink.

Removed the masks and Copic Colored the cows:

#30, E31, E33, E34, E35, E37

E00, E000

R11, R00

E41, E42, E43, E44

W0, W1, W3, W5, W6, W7

YR23, YR 24, YR27, Y19

Then I placed it in my Misti to stamp out the sentiment in the set with Versa Fine Onyx Black Ink.

Add a few white highlights to the cows. I did on the sentiment but I didn’t like it so I scrapped it off. And with a nice black pen went over the letters.
