Classic Mouse Borders

Hi Friends, today I have the adorable Steamboat Willie Duo and the fun Classic Mouse Borders from the Simple Stories Say Cheese Collection over at Spellbinders June release.

So to start off with the Classic Mouse Borders I wanted to go with a nautical theme. So using the anchor and helm borders, I die cut them twice so I could do an inlay. The card stock was Lemon Drop and Cornflower from MFT. Then to separate the two bigger borders, I used the thin one with the angle lines. Also die cutting it out from white and the Cornflower. I know I’m crazy with all the small pieces to inlay. Still I think it was worth it! Just saying!🤣

Next, I needed a pattern paper for the top, white was just a little boring for me. In my stash I found MFT had Sand, Surf and Sky 6X6 paper pad with the blue strips. I think the background turned out really cute, I wasn’t sure at first. But I came back in the morning and was like, Yep! I still like it and it’s cute! 🤣

Now I need to die cut out the Mickey only from the Steamboat Willie Duo die set . The set has many different arms to use, which is great. But I wanted them to have the white gloves on, so I die cut out twice from white and black card stock. After I die cut it all out from the same color card stock I popped it up with foam squares.

For the sentiment I used the Fair Winds Sentiment stamp set. I stamped it out with black ink, and die cut it out with the matching dies.
