Bee Happy

Hi Crafty Friends, I’m shaking things up with the new Honeycomb Die and previously released Bee Happy Clear Stamp set from Whimsy Stamps.

To start off I die cut out the Honeycomb Die from Lawn Fawn Number 2 Pencil card stock and ink blended on the edges with SSS Pawsitively Ink- Honey.

Next, I made a sleeve from reusing the packaging from a set I received to wrap around the Black card stock. That was trimmed down with the stitched rectangle die from the Honeycomb set. I added double side adhesive to the back of the black and attached the packaging to three of the sides. Then I poured in the Shaker Mix from HoneyBee Stamps from my stash. Removed the backing and sealed the mix in.

Adding glue to the Honeycomb die and placed it over the shaker.

I then die cut out the BEE word from Metallic gold using the Bold ABC Die Set. Also since I was die cutting I did the circle from black card stock with the Scallop Circle Frames.

Next, with the stamping I did the Bees from the set and the Happy on X-Press It card stock. With the Quick Strips die set I die cut out the Happy Word. Then Copic colored the bees.

Copic coloring guide:

Y13, Y15, Y18, Y19

T4, T5, T6, T7

R22

BG000

Then I fussy cut the bees out, adding foam squares to the back as well as the letters for BEE.

Adhered it all together and attached to a standard A2 card base.
