Hi Crafty Friends, here with a different card for me using the new Lemonade Jar and Strawberry Lemonade Dies from Pixi Dust Designs July release. Not saying that the shaker is different but the more Clean and simple, although this wasn’t as simple as I was hoping for.
So to start off I took a 5X7 panel and with the Strawberry Lemonade die I die cut it out from the bottom left. I knew that I would need to frame this up because I would have to have the Pitcher meaning the Lemonade Jar die off the panel. And to make it a shaker there would be foam to lift the White panel up. Next to figure out where the pitcher would need to be. I took the Revealers 2 Die set from Whimsy Stamps and place it in between the Mug and Pitcher. To have the new Lemon shaker bits pour out of the Pitcher into the mug. Taped them down and die cut them out separately.
For the frames from the sets I die cut them out of Concord & 9th Sweet Pea.
Next I needed to ink blend a panel to place in the back behind the die cut panel. With Distress Oxides: Festives Berry and Squeezed Lemonade (which is appropriate) on Bristol Smooth card stock.
Before attaching it together, I stamped out the sentiment from Jaded Blossoms Grilling with my Gnomies. Then splattered on Black paint that was watered down. Once it was dry, adhere with double sided adhesive tape a piece of acetate behind the die cut panel. Then adding foam around the cuts to create a well for the mix. Filling up the well and attaching the Ink blended panel.
Then on the front you can now attach the frames. You do need to use the pitcher frame to help guiding on the panel to the acetate. Only because so much of it is cut, this will guarantee the frame and panel are fitting correctly.
For the frame since it is a 5X7 size and I don’t own one. I used the Pretty Pink Posh Scalloped Frame Die and did some creative cutting. Using a 5 X 7 panel and did a partial cut and slide it down to cut the remaining frame. You will have to offset the plate for these cuts.
Adhere the frame on and then to a card base.
Lastly I thought it needs a little flower from the Summer Accessories dies.
