Hi Gnomies, I had this idea and had to make it work using the Build a Fairy Garden dies with the Gnome for the Holidays and Gnome Christmas Clear stamp sets from Whimsy Stamps.
I started off die cutting out the mushrooms from the Build a Fairy Garden dies did a little ink blending on SSS Pawsitively Latte and Cappucino ink on the edges for depth. Also with my E43 Copic in the White spots. I used Alabaster card stock from Spellbinders and Red cardstock in my stash. On the red tops of the mushroom I added some of the Distress Opaque White Grit paste. I just smeared it on with a palette knife. Set to the side to dry.
Next stamping out the images from the two sets I copic colored them in.
Copic coloring guide:
E41, E42, E43, E44, E47
Y18, YR 24, YR27
R24, R27, R29, R39
W1, W2, W3, W4, W5
N0, N1, N3, N4, N5
G21, G24, G94
OLO Markers for the skin:
OR7.2, OR7.1, OR2.0, OR1.0
Then with the Coordinating dies I die cut the Gnomes out and added foam squares to the back.
With Slimline Frozen Paper Pack, I found a pattern that didn’t have too much involved in the scene, it’ Gnomes! LOL! I did trim it down to be able to mat it with Hero Arts Meadow card stock.
The sentiment was lining up the different stamps from the Gnome for the Holidays clear stamp set. Then trimmed it out with Quick Strips for the clean lines and pop it up with foam. You can use a trimmer but I never cut straight! Ugh!
Now that the mushrooms are dry I attached it all together and mounted it on a Slimline card base.
Adding just a few white highlights to the Gnomes and the lightbulbs.
