Hi crafty friends, back with the new Lemonade Jar Die set from Pixi Dust Designs July release. This dies is meant to be a shaker but I like to think of other uses.
I started off looking for a lemon pattern paper, and Lawn Fawn sends paper as freebie. It is cut from 12×12 pieces, I can tell by the scale size. So I die cut out the lemon pattern paper to standard A2 vertical. And the reverse side is the plaid that matches. So, I die cut out the Lemonade jar from the plaid.
To make it to where the jar stands out and not too busy. I die cut out a panel of white with Waffle Flower Stitched Basics 2.

I knew that I wanted some flowers in the jar, so I used the new Calla Lilies die set. Die cut them out of white and LF Noble Fir card stock. Before I attached the flower heads, I ink blended on some yellow with the residual ink from my brush in the centers. The leaves were cut off and stems were trimmed down. I made it easier to make the bouquet.
I had it almost all finished adding the popped up lemons and flowers. Then I wished I add twine around the neck of the jar. I was lucky that I could lift it up by the one foam squares. Wrapped it around three times and tied a bow. Placed the foam back down, I was really lucky.
Then I stamped out the sentiment from Jaded Blossoms Grilling with my Gnomies stamp set.
