Country Christmas Barn

Hi friends, here with the Country Christmas Barn Etched Dies from the Country Christmas Collection by Annie Williams over at Spellbinders Christmas in July release. I’m not kidding when I saw this collection I was so excited, it’s just so darn cute.

To start off my card I knew I needed a background and went through my stash and found this snow flake panel I did a while ago. It is called the Flurry of Snowflakes 3D Embossing Folder from the previous Christmas collection. I trimmed it down to 4 3/4 X 6 3/4 inches horizontal. Matted with the same red card stock as the barn.

Next I die cut out the dies for the Country Christmas Barn Dies from LawnFawn Lobster card stock. The trees were die cut out of MFT Gumdrop and Field Day card stock. The roof was from a light Fog card stock.

Then for the snow drift and the snow on the window and door panes. I used Lawn Fawn Pixie Dust. For the snow drift I just used my scissors and made mounds.

So as I was finishing up on assembling it I felt like it needed a little something. And on my desk was a little Polar bear already made up from the Polar Bear Pals from Simon Hurley Collection. The sweater colors were perfect with the little bit of gold. So I added a small foam square and popped it on in front of the door. Then there is the string of lights for the walking Polar bear. I used that to wrap around some of the trees to decorate them all up.

For the sentiment I had some Gold heat foiled on Glossy Black card stock already done from the Joyful Christmas Sentiments Glimmer Plate.
