Stitched Birds and Decorative Birdhouses

Hi friends, here with the super adorable Stitched Bird Dies and Decorative Birdhouse Dies!  I absolutely love this card! I took my color inspiration from the super talented Arsenia!

When I started I used a white A6 panel, 41/2 X 61/2 inches. Placing it on a grip mat and the  Layered Blooming Vines StencilOne of my all time favorites! After I did all the ink blending on with both layers. I added more ink to the edges and splattered with the teal and white.

Then with the Tranquil Teal and Lemon Lolly card stocks, I die cut out the Decorative Birdhouses and the Stitched Birds. On all the die cuts I did some ink blending on the edges to give some depth to the cuts. Splattering on white Dr. ph Martin’s Bleed Proof and set to the side to dry. Later, I will  add Onyx Pearls for the eyes on the birds.

I wanted some to make it look as though the birdhouses were hanging. So with the Stitched Strips Dies I die cut out the very thinnest die from white card stock.

Next, with the Florals Wreath Builder Dies with three different sizes of flowers. I die cut out enough to double layer them, adding white splatter to them as well.

For the sentiment I used the recently released Summer Script DieDie cutting it out several times from white to stack up for dimension and the red for the top. Then I stamped out the rest of the sentiment from the Sentiment Strips: Summer Stamp and die cut it out with the Sentiment Strips Dies

As I’m starting to adhere it all together, I used my trimmer to die cut a mat with the Teal card stock 1/8 inch bigger then the Layered Blooming Vines panel.  Then with the largest Eyelet Rectangle DiesI did some creative cutting. With the die at a Horizonal position and the cutting plate off set I ran it through my cutting machine. So only cutting on the three sides, then slide the die down to lock it in and do another partial cut. So once I was finished I had a 5X7 card, attaching it to a card base.

Now with all the die cuts dry, I started attaching it all together with the birds and some of the flowers popped up with foam squares.

So what do you think? Very Summery!

Thanks for stopping by and stay crafty my friends!
