Hi friends, Are these Deer not the cutest!? Today I’m sharing Christmas Deer Clear stamp set from Whimsy Stamps.
I actually started off stamping out the images with X-Press It Card stock and copic colored them in.
COPIC Coloring Guide:
B91, B93, B95, B97
Y18, YR24, YR27,
E30, E31, E33, E34, E35, E37
Nose: N4, N6
Horns: E41, E43
BV31, E40
After the coloring was done I fussy cut the deer out.
Then I need to figure out my lay out, finding the perfect pattern paper from Cozy Winter Paper Pack that looked like snow.
With the Three Tree Border Die I figured out where I wanted the line of snow to the skyline to be with the trees off to the right. And trimmed it out from Neenah Solar Crest and attaching it to the snow fall pattern from the Cozy Winter Paper Pack. I then die cut the panel out with the Wonky Stitched Rectangle Die to give it a nice finish look.
Since I was die cutting I did the “Jingle” using the Cutie ABC from Lawn Fawn Pixie Dust card stock as well as the light blue from my stash. When I adhered the letters together I off set them to give the blue shadow.
For the remaining sentiment from the set, I masked off the Jingle and stamped it out with black ink. Then using the Quick Stripes Die I die cut it out.
Adhering the panel to the same blue card stock and attaching to a standard A2 card base. I then added the deer and the sentiment with them popped up with foam squares. The Jingle is glued directly to the panel.
Once I was done I thought the snow and trees need sparkle using Star Dust Stickles, so I very carefully added it around the deer.
