Halloween Bucket Addition

Hi friends, today is Day 1 of sneak peeks for Pretty Pink Posh August release. This is such an adorable release packed all the Halloween goodness! You’ll definitely find something you’ll have to have with the new dies, Stamps and stencils! Oh! And I’m giving you more than one item of the sneaks! 😂

I knew I wanted to make the Halloween Bucket Additions with the previously released Candy Bucket Dies to make a Kitty! Rather than doing a shaker I used a purple Polkadots pattern paper from a Doodlebug paper pack. So I started off die cutting it out with the polkadots, lavender card stock and Glossy Black. And of course the big Googly eyes. I did do a little shading with ink on the bucket, handle and trim, with black splatter. Set it to the side.

Then with the new Crackle Background Stencil and a standard A2 panel of a light Fog card stock on a grip mat I ink blended on a medium gray ink. Next I placed the panel in my splatter box and with watered down Dr ph Martin bleed proof white and Black paint I splattered on the panel. Set it to the side to dry.

With the Scallop Frames Die I die cut it out of Black card stock.

And more sneaks, with the new Halloween Candy Hearts, I stamped them out with a lavender ink and a few with a little dark ink for the polka dots and stripes. If you don’t have a darker ink just double stamp it. Then with the Coordinating Dies I die cut them out.

One more sneak! The adorable Spider Friends stamp set, I stamped him out with a COPIC friendly ink. Then with BV 23, BV25, BV27 colored him in. After with the Coordinating Dies cut him out.

I assembled the bucket using liquid glue and arranged the Halloween Candy Hearts behind the handle. I did add foam squares behind the bucket so it lifted it for the tucking of the hearts. A few of the hearts as well have foam squares behind them and Mr. spider.

Now that the splatters are dry I could attach it all together, adding the frame first so I knew where to place the bucket. The very last thing I did was add Glossy Accents to the kitty’s nose.

I think it turned out super cute. Do you make Halloween cards?
