Under the Sea

Hi sea worthy friends, today I have a fun bubbly under water scene for you. With the Under the Sea Stamp set from Whimsy Stamps.

I started off using the Slimline Under the Sea Paper Pack, since I just got it. Then with the Connected Bubbles Die, I ran it through with the chosen paper. Keeping all the pieces to in lay. Then with the Connected Bubbles Die, I die cut it out of a thick card stock three times. Stacked it up for dimension.

I adhered the pattern paper to a slimline card base. Then with one of the white Connected Bubbles die cut, I in laid the pattern paper. I was easier to do it this way. Then adding in the stack of Connected bubbles with the pattern paper on top.

With the images from the Under the Sea Stamp set, I stamped them out on X-Press It smooth white card stock and Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. Copic colored them in with:

Blow Fish: OLO:YG1.2 Copic: Y21, E50, Y11

YR02, R05, R08

E40, E41, E42, E43, E44

Next, I used the Coordinating Dies to cut them out. Adding foam squares to the back of the fish.

On the sentiment I had a hard time to figure out what I wanted. The set has very small sentiments. So with the Bold ABC Die Set, I die cut out the Shello with Gina K Tangerine. And ink blended on just the bottom of each letter using SSS Pawsitively ink Apple and Cranberry inks.

I layed out the design wanting some fish in the bubbles. Making the Shello go in a curve to make it look like movement. You have to be careful where there are foam squares.

Last thing was to add some clear baubles to look like bubbles in the water.
