Meltdown

Hi crafty friends Debbie here with the new Meltdown Dies from Pixi Dust Designs August Release! How adorable is this die, pure genius! I could see using a wobbler with maybe the head or one of the other layers.

So to start off with my card I grabbed out of my stash a Snowflake embossing folder and a light blue card stock measuring a standard A2 panel. Next with the cutting plates off set on the folder, keeping the bottom of the panel flat to stamp out my sentiment. I did place the stamp on to make sure there was enough room, which you could stamp first. For a little water effect I splattered on Sparkle Shine or Perfect Pearl.

Then I die cut out the Meltdown Dies from white card stock and on the edges lightly ink blended on a soft blue to all of the layers but the head.

With head I die cut out the hat in a pink and pink polkadots card stock. On the face I added checks with a small brush, lots of times I just use the residue on the small pink round brush.

When I adhered the melting snow layers I added between two of the layers a 3D foam squares and then between the others I did a thin foam squares.

The last thing I did was add three clay snow flakes by the sentiment.

Thanks for stopping by and stay crafty my friends!
