Hi friends, today I shared the super sweet Gingerbread Delivery Etched Die Set from Stamperia’s Candy Christmas over at Spellbinders August Release.
I knew right away with the parachuting Gingerbread man that I wanted him to be on a pendulum so he would rock back and forth.
So I started off with a 5X7 panel and with the Spooky Sky Stencil from Pretty Pink Posh Stamp. I used the cloud layer only and placed it over the panel and ink blended on a light pink ink.

Next I built the parachutes from two colors of pink and ink blended on the edges for some depth. I used a Red glitter and White glitter card stocks for some of the detail to the parachute and bow.
Before I poked the holes for the pendulum I need to make the sentiment. So I white heat embossed on red card stock the sentiment from Simon Says Stamp-Christmas Blessing with Dies.
I trimmed the panel down by an 1/8 inch on all sides to mat in light pink later.
Once I had the gingerbread man and the parachutes all made and the sentiment. I placed them on the panel to get a rough idea of where to do the holes and make sure they have enough room to rock. Once it was figured out I used a very small round die from a round nested die set. Taped it in place and ran it through the P6. Next with a round edge sentiment set. I grabbed one that was 1/2 inch by 2 inches in length. Attached a penny with double sided tape at one end of the stripe. Then on the other end you will place on the same side a round foam circle that will go through the hole on the panel.

Attach the two parachutes on the front of the panel to the foam circles. Flip over the panel and add a double thick foam stripes to the back but not in the way of the pendulum.
Once I added it to the light pink mat I realized I wanted to add more small clouds using the Cloud dies from Gingerbread Planes & Banners Etched Dies. I did a light pink ink blend on the edges of the clouds, added foam square to the back to pop them up. Placing some of the clouds off the panel you can carefully snip off the extra hanging over. Or cut them first about where you want them to be, that’s what I did because it will always be a crooked cut.
Adhere it all together by popping up the sentiment and clouds with two swing Parachutes onto a 5X7 vertical side fold card base.
