Hi friends, back with another Cuckoo Clock from the Cuckoo Collection over at Spellbinders. I had so much fun with the Halloween Tick Tock Etched Dies I couldn’t wait to do the Chiming Christmas Etched Dies.
So I started off figuring out my color combination and decided on Red, Pink and Mint. With of course Glitter Card stock from Lawn Fawn.

Then with the Cuckoo Cottage Etched Dies, I laid out the paper with which dies I wanted that color. It was pretty easy because for the most part it is the base of the clock with some of the detail to the clock.
Then with the Chiming Christmas Etched Dies, I die cut out the images I wanted. I knew that I wanted to keep the colors to a minimum. So only the trees, penguin, and the snowman.
Once the Cuckoo Clock was pretty well assembled, I needed a background. And in my stash already made up in a red was the Scenic Poinsettia 3D embossing folder. I set it in my splat box, and splattered on watered down Dr. PH Martin Bleedproof and a metallic gold.
The last thing I needed was a sentiment and from the Comfort and Joy sentiment set. I hot foiled gold on to a glossy card stock, trimming out with the coordinating die from the set.
