Hi friends, is this snowman the cutest!? I’m showcasing the new There’s Snow-one Like You dies from the Let’s it Snow Release over at Pixi Dust Designs.
I decided to make this a shaped card, so with an arch die set in my stash. I grabbed a folded 81/2 X 11 inch card stock. And with the one side of the edge so it did’t cut and gave me the fold that was needed. Next I used the arch die again and die cut out from the blue and white card stocks. Then with a curvy die I die cut the white card stock to give it a snow bank. Then with the sentiment from the set I stamped it out on the white snow bank. It was a perfect spot when you don’t have dies for the sentiment.
For the blue arch, I ran the die cut through with a Pierced Snowflake plate from Pretty Pink Posh. I then splattered on white on the blue card stock for a snowy effect, set to the side to dry.
Now I can start die cutting out the cutie and building it. I used the pattern paper from a Doodlebug pack in my stash.
Before I added the face to the snowman I used a small pink brush to add cheeks on the snowman.
Once the snowman was built, I popped it up with foam squares on the back. Adhering it to the snow bank, I then released I wanted to add some sparkle. With Stickles Star Dust, I applied it around the snowman and on the snow bank.
The last thing it needed was some snowflakes, so in the set there is the one that he is to catch. I die cut it out three times from Pixie Dust glitter card stocks from Lawn Fawn.
