Hi friends, I’m slowly getting caught up after being gone for almost 3 weeks in August. And I’m so excited to bring the Steamboat Willie Duo Etched Dies back out from Spellbinders.

If you didn’t know they now have some add ons from the September release. Today I have the Classic Mouse Christmas Embellishments Etched Dies.

I knew that I wanted them standing either in front of a door and a window. My original plan was a door with them hanging the Classic Mouse Christmas Wreath Etched Dies. But it is too big, so I decided to go with just the Christmas Embellishments.

I started off making the window out of white card stock using the Vista View Window Etched Dies. I then die cut out just the outer portion and ink blended on SSS Seafoam, Surf, and Ocean. But it wasn’t the right color to match my pattern paper which is from MFT-Cool Collab 6×6 paper pack. I know you all have a ton of pattern paper stashed away! So I went back and ink blended on more using then the SSS-Raindrop and Mist. Perfect match now! Adding some white splatter for a snow effect. And the attaching the window pane and the background panel together with liquid glue. And centering it on the Pattern Paper and adhering it with liquid glue.

From the same pack I die cut out her skirt. Then with card stock in my stash I die cut out the rest of Minnie and Mickey. I used Pixie Dust Glitter card stock for the hats.

Next, I assembled them and adhered in front of the window and slight off the panel. I’ll probably send it in a 5×7 envelope, Because once I was done I wanted to mat it so the measurements are 4.50X5.75 inches.

The last two things I did was add Star Dust Stickles to the berries. And Clay Snowflakes to the background panel through the window panes.

Oh, I almost forgot to tell you where the sentiment came from! My trusty stash of premade Comfort and Joy Sentiments that are right now retired.
